Juliana Rocha Franco is postdoctoral researcher in Communication and Semiotics at Pontificia Universidade Catolica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), Brazil. Her research topic is Locative Media and Spatial Representation. Since 2001, she teach “Communication Theory” and ”Semiotics” for undergraduate students. She is interested in semiotics, psychogeography, tactical media, cartography and power, urban space and citzenship, cognitive mapping, media art, urban space and technology and she is very open to interdisciplinary conversations.
